Thomas Harper

Hello, please meet our HEALTHY 9 year old Thomas. At the age of 4, Thomas had been treated for about 45 ear infections; and by the age of 8 he was nearing 100.  He has had 8 ear surgeries (tubes), tonsils and adenoids removed. For eight years, he was on antibiotics for weeks at a time with monthly, if not weekly, visits to his pediatrician with yet another ear infection.

Thomas is currently under the care of his “miracle worker” Dr. C and his staff at AC Chiropractic. He was brought here in October 2009 for a football injury. In talking with Dr. C about Thomas past, he asked us to continue chiropractic care for his ears. Skeptical at first, I thought, “What can chiropractor do for Thomas?” I was completely WRONG!! Thomas has not been to a medical doctor for the last 8 months (other than a well check- up) and has had NO more ear infections. Thomas is now able enjoy being a very active boy without having to stop and take medications or having no energy to do so.

As a parent I would never have been grateful for a football injury, but I have to say I am very thankful that due to the football injury we were referred to AC Chiropractic. Thanks to Dr. C and his staff will never be enough, but looking at Thomas’ smile is a BIG reward!!!

We appreciate all of YOU,
Tracy and Patti Harper

Bill Gaguski

This is a testimony to Dr. Cavallo (Dr. C) and the AC Chiropractic Center. In December 2009, I was prompted by my wife Jane to get an appointment at the chiropractic clinic. The suggestion was based on information she had received that indicated regular adjustments by a chiropractor could lower one’s blood pressure. I had been on blood pressure medication for the last six years and there was no progress in correcting the problem. My blood pressure during this period was around 150 over 100. I even doubted that the medication was helping to maintain a lower pressure than originally diagnosed. I decided to start adjustments with Dr. C because I am at an age where maintaining a normal blood pressure is important and I am opposed to taking medications unless it is absolutely necessary.

When I started at the clinic, the first thing they did was prove without a doubt that there was a problem with my spine. Dr. C showed me the x-rays during a scheduled consultation and explained in detail the problems with my spine. It was like starting with the basics of the human skeleton. Dr. C started my adjustments at 3 times per week. After 3 months I noticed my blood pressure was coming down. The readings were around 145 over 95. I am 5 months into my care and down to two adjustments per week. My blood pressure is now down to normal with readings around 120 over 80. There was even a diastolic reading of 79. I don’t remember that last time I had a diastolic reading that low!

I want to literally thank Dr. C and the people at the chiropractic clinic, as well as my wife, from the bottom of my HEART for the care and attention they have given me.

WHAT CHIROPRACTIC MEANS TO ME…

Chiropractic care is having the assurance that your mind and body are functioning at their highest level with continuous maintenance. Its knowing that when you do occasionally get sick your immune system is so strong you`re body will heal itself without the aid of drugs, shots, vaccinations or surgery. Not overnight, but clearly in a shorter period of time.

Chiropractic care is knowing that two caring, wonderful doctors are available for their patients, doctors who specialize in family health care infancy on up to adulthood. Chiropractic care has surprised me in my life, in that the benefits of such methods of healing actually worked. I support chiropractic care. Having this vast amount of knowledge (with additional information available), I truly cannot believe all humans are not seeking this type of health care, to live a drug free, happy, healthy lifestyle with chiropractic care. Chiropractic care should be the key to everyone`s wellness and it simply means GOOD HEALTH!

Yours truly,
Cheri Chapman

WHAT CHIROPRACTIC MEANS TO ME…

Chiropractic to me means hope.
It gives me hope where traditional medicine has failed.
It allows me to have confidence in the body that God gave me.
It allows me to cope and even overcome disease.
It means encouragement and support from the doctors that care about me as a whole person.
The ones that dedicate their lives to making their patients the healthiest they can be.
Thank you for your time and dedication.
I can never express what an important part of my family`s lives you are.

WHAT CHIROPRACTIC MEANS TO ME…

Chiropractic Care is an investment in a quality life. For my family it has meant overall wellness – less pain and sickness for everyone. My husband could hardly walk before I convinced him to seek the care of a chiropractor. He now only has problems when he occasionally misses his appointments. As a teenager I recovered from a sports injury and car accident with the help of my chiropractor, but I did not begin receiving regular adjustments again until I was four months pregnant with my son. Though my delivery was less than ideal, however standard by today`s medical standards, I credit my quick and incident free delivery to a well-adjusted spine and pelvis.

Though my husband and I have both seen wonderful results from regular chiropractic care, my eighteen-month-old son`s life has been affected most positively. He has been adjusted since the first week of his life. This means his "innate intelligence" that God gave his body has been fostered instead of destroyed. His tiny body has been able to develop healthy nervous, structural, and immune systems without the debilitating effects of drugs. So often American children are never given the chance to have healthy bodies due to the "drug happy" mentality of our capitalistic nation and the majority of it`s traditional health care providers.

We all benefit from being subluxation-free. In conclusion, there is no way that I can even come close to summing up all the benefit my family and I have received while under the care of Doctors Altieri and Cavallo. There is really no way to know how many illnesses, surgeries, or debilitating diseases we have avoided by making our chiropractors our primary care doctors. Frankly, I would not ever care to find out! Would you?

Sunshine Family

My family and I have been visiting Dr.`s A & C since they opened. I initially had a screening done at a now defunct gym and followed that up with a visit to their office. It has been a number of years now and looking back, it seems that my three boys had very few sick days from school. I attribute this health benefit to the regular chiropractic treatments they have received.

My oldest son, Eron, played basketball from grade school thru his senior year of high school. Dr. C, by his adjustments, kept Eron playing thru all of his injuries and soreness to his back and his joints. Eron, now in the army, continues to see Dr. C on his visits home. These visits, as always, keep him healthy and going thru all of his training and field activities.

As for my healthcare, I have been lifting weights for thirty years. During the later part of that time I was power lifting. Dr. C`s adjustments of my back, shoulders and elbows allowed me to stay on track with my training five days per week.

I have been ill during the flu season only twice during all of my years visiting Dr. C. I truly believe that my adjustments have kept me as healthy as I am. The last five years stress has gravitated to my lower back and Dr. C always seems to be able to remove the discomfort with an adjustment or two and keep me together for the next business trip.

The treatment and health education that my family and I received from the Dr. `s is priceless. Without our health my family and I would have nothing and for this we owe Dr. `s C & A our thanks and love. I can honestly say that we are treated and feel that we are a part of the doctor`s family.

Pre-surgery: approximately 3 who all recommended surgery.

Randi Michels

1. When did the problem start?
When I was in 2nd grade I was hospitalized with pneumonia. Ever since that time I was diagnosed with asthma.

2. What were your symptoms?
I would have frequent asthma attacks growing up. These attacks would often land me in the emergency room. I had bronchitis twice a year (once in the fall and once in the spring).

3. Number of weeks, months, or years you have had this problem.
19 to 20 years

4. To what extent was your normal life impaired?
Very much! I often had to sit out in gym class as I had a hard time breathing. I could not join any sports at school and was very limited at what I could do. I could never stay over at friends houses because if my immunity was down I would have an attack.

5. Number of other doctors you have seen for this problem and drugsltreatment you received.
I saw a family practioner and an asthma specialist. I was on a steroid inhaler, a disbronchulator, another inhaler, a nose inhaler and a decongestant on a daily basis. Every 3 months I had a steroid shot!

6. How long have you been under Chiropractic care?
8 months

7. How has Chiropractic benefited you?
After my very first adjustment, I experienced a wonderful feeling of being able to breath. After I was under care for one month I was off all of my medication! For the first time in 19-20 years I was completely drug free!

8. Why would you recommend it to others?
It has changed so many things in my life. I`m able to play sports without having any attacks. I can lead a normal life without having to worry about my breathing.

Comments: Chiropractic has benefited me in a lot of other ways also. I am over all a lot healthier than I used to be! I used to have frequent bladder and kidney infection, lots of colds, the flu and, respiratory problems. Most of these problems have been non-existent since I`ve been adjusted.
